Have you ever noticed that some people appear very chilled out, even in what would appear to be a stressful situation, whereas other people in that same situation are 'bouncing off the walls'?

There is only one key difference between these two people. The former has very low anxiety levels and the other has high anxiety.

To understand why some people seem more stressed than others in similar situations, it's important to understand what stress and anxiety actually are.

Stress and anxiety are two different things

Stress is something we experience that is caused by external factors. For example, we may experience feelings of stress if our child walks too near a road, or a gas bill arrives that's beyond our means of paying.

Anxiety on the other hand, is a feeling that we always feel. Sure, sometimes people may feel less anxious on 'good days', and more anxious on 'bad days', but nevertheless, it's a feeling that's always there. Anxiety is like a reservoir within us, if it's very low, we feel and appear chilled out to people around us. If it's high, we appear nervous and worry alot.

An easy way of understanding the difference and relationship between anxiety and stress is if you consider the analogy of a glass of water applied to different type of people:

A person with low anxiety can take a lot of stress before feeling out of control

A person with low anxiety has an almost empty glass of water. When such a person is exposed to everyday stress in life, it's like slowly filling up this glass with water. Without the stress of everyday life being around - this persons cup is empty, so it's going to take a lot of filling up before it overflows (i.e. before the person feels like 'everything is too much', or 'everything is out of control').

A person with high anxiety can't take a lot of stress before feeling out of control

A person with high anxiety has an almost full glass of water. When such a person is exposed to everyday stress in life, it's like slowly filling up this glass with water. Without the stress of everyday life being around - this persons cup is already almost overflowing, so it's not going to take a lot of filling up before it overflows (i.e. before the person feels like 'everything is too much', or 'everything is out of control').

If a person has low anxiety, he/she can take a lot more stress before feeling out of control!

When people's cups overflow - this will often manifest itself in a panic attack, which is certainly up there with one of the most horrible feelings a human being can have. The key to allowing a person to be able to deal with stress is to empty that glass of water, so that it will take a lot of stress before if over flows. I specilised in helping people with stress and anxiety, and I offer the World only therapy that can cause permanent relief from these feelings - this therapy in called Pure Hypnoanalysis.

If your glass is almost full, you will feel stressed, even though most of the time there is nothing to actually feel stressed about. For you to life a happy life, free of these feelings, we need to empry that glass (allow you to release the anxiety) so that your tolerance to every day stresses and strains increase. Only then will you find yourself being able to cope easily with any situation you find yourself in.

Pure Hypnoanalysis is the ultimate cure for feelings of not coping with stress!
