Unwanted Cross Dressing treatment at the Manchester Hypnotherapy Clinic

In today's society the boundaries between what Society considers 'normal' dress-sense and cross-dressing are becoming more and more overlapped, and this is probably not a bad thing. Indeed the market forces of the London and Paris fashion industry have been open in exhibiting ranges of skirts for men for example which in some circles of society are deemed very fashionable.

Of course, cross-dressing isn't confined to men. Some women feel compelled to dress up as men and indeed, once again I say 'each to her own' - but if the cross dressing is a compulsion that is causing conflict (feelings of anxiety) then something should be done about it because conflict generally leads to feeling upset and miserable.

There are many reasons why men and women might cross dress and these include;

Cross-dressing for purely theatrical reasons (e.g. pantomime).
Male cross-dressing to demonstrate awareness and express their feminine side.
Female cross-dressing to demonstrate awareness and express their masculine side.
Cross-dressing as a simple matter of comfort and style (fashion).
Cross-dressing to disguise true identity.
Cross-dressing to challenge social norms and to 'shock'.
An out-of-control feeling of compulsion to cross dress leading to conflicting feelings.

This list is by no means exhaustive and is only a problem to the cross-dresser is he or she perceives it as a problem. As a Pure Hypnoanalytical therapist, I have helped a very broad range of clients.
